Battlefield was built from 1653 to 1665 at the initiative of Count Crequi, active character of the Fronde.
Remarkable for the breadth of its facade and the refined elegance of its architecture, the castle was remodeled in the 18th century by the Duke of Beuvron.

Hospice, received German officers during World War II, was used as a prison for women.
It was finally bought in 1992 by Jacques Garcia, an interior designer.
In recent years, recovered the pieces one after the other, to their former glory, refurbished with the collection of furniture and objects by Jacques Garcia.
Surrounded by a large park and wooded area, the Castle is now complemented by an extraordinary French garden, incorporating the philosophy of humanity through the seven levels of creation.
